Stream is embarking on a back-office transformation in Financial Operations and Human Capital Management which will be enabled by implementing a contemporary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.

As Director of Financial Systems , you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to senior/executive leadership, ensuring that the financial systems strategy aligns with the overall business objectives.

This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact on the growth of our organization. Reporting to the CFO and in collaboration with the CHRO and CIDO this role will be responsible for the execution, maintenance, and continuous optimization of our financial systems platform and HRIS. Serving as a vital link between Finance/Accounting, IT, HR and other key stakeholder groups, this role will provide system consultation, guidance, and support. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage a team of resources with our implementation partner while also rolling up your sleeves to drive key cross-functional initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the implementation of new financial ERP systems and processes, ensuring the project plan is executed on time and in budget.

  • Team Management: Define and prioritize team needs, develop initiatives, and execute the financial systems strategy.

  • Standing up a financial systems center of excellence for an enterprise with multiple service lines encompassing shared service centers to support brokerage, property management, development services, construction management, asset management, consulting, construction, and capital markets business lines.

  • Product Owner for key financial platforms, co-developing and co-owning the strategic roadmap for our core financial applications, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence between the HR and finance applications.

  • Overseeing project plans, budgets, and deliverables. Facilitate the planning, design, development, and implementation of financial systems for accounting operations.

  • Analyzing performance data and metrics to track progress and identifying areas for continuous improvement and opportunities for growth.

  • Ensure seamless operation, integration, and enhancement across the HR and financial applications to meet evolving business needs.

  • Oversee integration management of financial systems with other enterprise systems, manage continuous data flow and operational efficiency and ensure platform changes and upgrades are seamless.

  • Administer financial systems by managing a team and overseeing QA testing, ensuring secure external integrations (e.g., banking connectivity), and regularly reviewing and maintaining security levels.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, HR, other internal groups, and external partners to enhance system architecture, manage proper SDLC, maintain universal IDs and data integrity to drive one source of truth.

  • Suggest strategic initiatives that align with emerging technologies and corporate objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Tax, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.

  • Minimum of 15 years’ functional experience in Finance operations, such as financial close, external reporting, intercompany consolidations, order-to-cash or invoice-to-pay, etc.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading ERP transformation through the full project lifecycle with Oracle, Workday, Peoplesoft, or NetSuite.

  • Experience within commercial real estate or a professional services firm preferred.

  • CPA, CIA, CISA, PMP, CPM, Six Sigma or advanced certifications preferred.

  • Ability to identify core business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements all while driving user adoption and engagement.

  • Proven ability to lead stakeholders within accounting/finance, IT, HR, and other areas of the business through design decisions and requirements gathering sessions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication including interpersonal skills necessary to lead direct reports and interact effectively with business leaders across different functions throughout the organization.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, highly adaptable to change. Experience with start-ups or standing up operations a plus.

  • Ability to manage and lead multiple projects, delegate work, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information.
