Responsibilities for ecommerce lead

• Overseeing online sales: The E-commerce Director is responsible for the overall online sales of the company, developing and executing marketing strategies to increase revenue and improve customer experience  
• Managing a team: They manage a team of marketing specialists, analysts, and developers to ensure the online shop is optimized for sales through targeted marketing campaigns, user-friendly interfaces, and efficient payment processing.  
• Monitoring industry trends: The role involves monitoring industry trends, analyzing data to measure the success of marketing efforts, and making data-driven decisions to improve sales.
• Collaboration: The E-commerce Director collaborates with other departments, such as IT and finance, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of e-commerce operations.
• Continuous learning: Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and advancements in e-commerce to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, along with a proven track record of success in e-commerce sales. A master's degree and experience in leadership roles are preferred. The position requires excellent communication skills to build relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications for ecommerce lead:

Mandatory :

Retail Link and Item 360 Experience (Walmart /Sam's Club/and other mass retailers system knowledge preferred)

Optional:

· Experience with multiple retailers computer-based systems for maintenance of online items, etc.. (Sam's, Walmart, Target, Costco, Academy, BJ's, etc...)

· Experience Creating Modules/Web Services and content

· Solid understanding of OOA/D concepts

· Experience building enterprise web applications or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Experience in JavaScript and CSS

· Experience in integrating with SaaS based systems

· 5 years technical proficiency preferred
