Job Summary Bay-CSS is looking for a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Waldorf, MD. As a DSP, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities during our weekend shifts. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can promote independence and well-being.
Qualifications - Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual needs
Responsibilities - Support individuals with disabilities in daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life for those in your care
- Adhere to individual care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of each client
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and observations
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to deliver high-quality care and address individual needs effectively
Schedule - Part-time role with weekend shifts in Waldorf, MD
- Sundays: 8am - 10pm; Saturdays: 8am - 2pm
- Total of 20 hours per week
- Must be available for the schedule outlined above
Additional Information - Must be considered an essential employee
- Hourly rate: $21/hr with a $2 weekend differential
- Additional hours may be available based on organizational needs.
