The Design Drafter is responsible for providing technical/operational drafting and design support to the engineering functional groups. Performs the support requires by Engineering to document new designs via Creo parametric modeling and drafting. Includes use of Creo, CAD modeling and drafting, GD&T analysis, support drawing sign-off and release, and maintenance of the Drafting Manual containing Doosan FCA drafting standards. Identify standard parts and materials used across all components, provide feedback on and update the drafting manual to streamline the product definition process. Apply Drafter and Designer skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area. Adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet the requirements of the position. Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues and refer only the more complex issues to higher levels.

Knowledge:
Production of change engineering release documentation with Windchill or comparable software.
Production of drawing trees to document and track larger change packages.
Ability to produce drawings which document the intent of the designer.
Create 3-D models and other definition models using Creo to meet design intent.
Experience:
5+ years of related experience
Prior use of intermediate and some advanced skills
Creo and/or ProE experience
AA/AS degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent experience.
Technical School Certificate
Skilled Trades Apprenticeship
2 years of post-high school training
Strong computer and systems skills.
Good communications skills
Well organized
Focus on teamwork.
