Leidos is looking to hire a Deputy Task Order Manager to work on an integration, operations, and sustainment program. The qualified candidate will lead a task order focused on dissemination of products and be responsible for all project management tasks associated with it, working hand-in-hand with technical and program management leadership and stakeholders. This position will require all facets of project management including staffing, training, finance, contracting, proposals, and day to day team leadership. In addition, the candidate will be working closely and actively with the task order team to define requirements, priorities, risks, schedule, quality, and processes to deliver solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

This position task order for a large IT program in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The successful candidate will work closely with the task order team, internal L eidos program teams, leadership, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure the task order is successful. Duties include all tasks associated with leading and managing a task order. Leads, staffs, directs, and reviews the work of team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments, while collaborating closely with end users and customer stakeholders. Provides primary input to hiring, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires BS degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience; OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Must currently possess an active TS clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI with Polygraph post hire

  • Demonstrated experience serving as the primary point of contact for a program for all technical, cost and schedule performance matters and issues 

  • Experience overseeing daily operations, managing, assigning, providing oversight and reviewing work of program personnel

  • Develop a professional and strong working relationship with the customer to collaboratively impact change and drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across the operational baseline

  • Experience implementing and actively leading an agile organizational structure, demonstrating hands-on and visible participation in all activities and at all levels

  • Excellent communication skills with experience briefing all levels of stakeholders, and establishing regular and effective battle rhythms

  • Experience taking proactive measures to mitigate gaps in service due to the attrition or fluctuation of program personnel

  • Demonstrated experience ensuring program reporting on performance and status is complete and delivered per requirements and deadlines

  • Demonstrated experience ensuring necessary programmatic and technical artifacts required to effectively and successfully manage the program are created, maintained, accurate, and delivered on time

  • Demonstrated experience consulting and coordinating to ensure problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, training needs, and task clarification

  • Demonstrated experience consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • An active TS/SCI with a Polygraph

  • Geospatial and/or NGA experience (GEOINT)

  • PMP certification

  • Technical/IT certification

  • Understanding of data center operations consisting of a Windows and RHEL infrastructure baseline

  • Understanding of cloud technologies specifically Amazon Web services (AWS)

  • Expert understanding of DevOps and agile development methodologies and certification (i.e. SAFe)

  • Experience with all aspects of project management (Specifically contracts, proposals, staffing, team development, financial, risk, subcontracting)

  • 2+ years of experience supervising and leading teams or projects

Pay Range:

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
