Dental receptionistsmanage the day-to-day operations of a dental office, including scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and handling payments.They also perform administrative tasks and ensure the office runs smoothly.

Experience with Dentrix or other dental software is a plus

* Scheduling:Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments
* Greeting patients:Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
* Answering phones:Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
* Updating records:Maintain patient records and prepare patient charts
* Collecting payments:Collect payments from patients and prepare billing statements
* Filing claims:File insurance claims and track their progress
* Assisting patients:Assist patients in filling out forms and with dental procedures as needed
* Maintaining the office:Keep the reception area clean and organized, and maintain office inventory
* Communicating:Communicate with dental supply vendors and inform patients of payment options
* Other duties:Perform basic accounting tasks, generate reports, and track patient progress
