Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities

As a Delivery Associate (DA) you will ensure that products are delivered on time and in the proper condition. You'll pack and load products onto your van before delivering orders to customers on predetermined routes. Except in the case of extenuating circumstances, you will always adhere exactly to the route and deliver each order on time and with a high level of professionalism. Additionally:

• Expect to work approximately 8-10 hours per day delivering 200-300 packages per day w/ an average of 130 + stops per day
• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use a handheld device (GPS) for routing information and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the Pittsburgh area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions and load and unload packages to be delivered. It is a physical job.
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift

Full-time Delivery Drivers work 4-5 days per week & must work at least 1 weekend day. Shifts are available 7 days/week. Payday is every Friday. Must be able to commute to DPP7 warehouse in Coraopolis.

Delivery Driver Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour

Delivery Driver Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Have customer service & problem solving skills
• Be a team player & contributor
