Title: Data Scientist

Location: Newark, NJ

Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 (DoE)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist in Newark, NJ . This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insights and building scalable data solutions. You will work alongside a cross-functional team to drive data-driven decisions and innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world business problems
• Develop data pipelines and workflows using big data tools and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate data insights into strategic actions
• Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends and patterns
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and reports
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSCS or Master's in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist or similar analytical role
• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and model development
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proven expertise with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in a related field
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and data-driven environment
