Job Description: Data Entry Coordinator (DEC)

The primary responsibilities of the DEC are to audit all transactional billing events, record finding associated with warehouse shipping and receiving operations. This person will research billing issues, reconcile any inventory variances. They will also assist in validating the results of inventory counts, and make any resulting adjustments in the warehouse management system (WMS) software. This person will ensure that all customer item information is captured and configured correctly in the WMS to maintain both inventory and billing accuracy. The DEC reports to the Business Intelligence Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, collect, record, monitor billing data and write reports on billing statistics.
  • Monitor payments and accounts to ensure all transactions are billed correctly based on established pricing schedules, as well as any added materials or services.
  • Input and audit item configurations in the warehouse management system, to include the physical weights and dimensions, and the corresponding item-level billing settings.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives on Real-Time-Confirmation processing for orders, and receipts.
  • Create reports in preparation for end-of-the month billing.
  • Respond to requests for inventory adjustment and order cancellations.
  • Various and wide-ranging administrative duties, including answering and directing phone calls and emails, assisting company executives, distributing company mail, and any other cooperative tasks that may be necessary.

Safety:

This position requires occasionally working in a warehouse environment alongside heavy equipment, such as forklifts, scissor-lifts, and motorized pallet jacks. Personal safety, and that of others, takes priority over every single job function or activity, under every circumstance. Adherence to warehouse safety rules and regulations is always necessary, and is strictly enforced.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience with warehouse inventory controls and reconciliation procedures.
  • WMS navigation and general data entry skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC computers, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, basic typing, and using handheld computer devices.
  • Ability to lift to 75 lbs., and to be comfortable working extended periods of time while standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and carrying heavy items.
  • Minimum of three years or relevant experience required.
