The Partial Hospital Program-Focused Data Entry Clerk assists with the daily review of program attendance and makes necessary updates. This position reviews records and routes documentation to the Clinical Manager for review.

• Review patient medical records for data required for routing and reporting.
• Has ability to navigate reports to ensure documentation is entered appropriately and accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Carry out verbal and written instructions and communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, Experience, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

• Education : High School Diploma or comparable experience working with medical records.
• Experience : Computer proficient with the ability to perform computer data entry accurately and ability to learn new computer applications. Prior experience in auditing, managing, and maintaining patient records preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of computer programs used to maintain patient record data.
