The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal defense law, be fluent in Spanish, and be a member of the Florida State Bar. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities: Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including misdemeanors and felonies Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and briefs Negotiate plea bargains and settlements with prosecutors Attend court hearings and trials to advocate for clients Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, judges, and other legal professionals Stay up-to-date with changes in criminal law and legal precedents Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to provide the best possible legal representation to clients Qualifications: Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing 1+ years of experience as a criminal defense attorney Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal highly preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and legal professionals If you are a passionate and dedicated criminal defense attorney with a strong desire to help clients navigate the legal system, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
