Job Summary
Sara’s Kitchen, a Middle Eastern casual dining restaurant, is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter/Server to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. If you’re passionate about great food and delivering top-notch service, we’d love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with menu selections.
• Take orders accurately at the counter, ensuring all details are correct.
• Process payments using the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions efficiently.
• Deliver food to dine-in guests or package orders for takeout.
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter and dining area
• Assist with stocking supplies, refilling sauces, and preparing the restaurant for peak service times.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Uphold Sara’s Kitchen standards by ensuring food is served fresh and in accordance with restaurant quality.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a fast-casual restaurant or food service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge or interest in Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus but not required (we’ll train you!).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
