Costume Designer for High School Dance Concert Company: Dance Program Location: Bronx, NY Compensation: $1500-3500 Looking for a costume designer to design costumes for our Spring Dance Concert, a fully produced evening of student choreography at an independent school in the Bronx. The ideal candidate has experience and a love of working with Upper School students (grades 9-12) and an understanding of the unique developmental stage of adolescents. Students will meet with the costume designer a minimum of 2 times in April. More visits are possible if needed. We have an existing costume wardrobe that can be used at will by the costume designer. Light construction and mending are needed but not full construction of costumes. Candidates of color are strongly encouraged to apply. A background check is required upon hiring.
