Job Summary:
The Copier/Printer Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing printers, copiers, and multifunction devices. The technician ensures that all office printing and copying equipment operates efficiently and provides excellent customer service by diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Setup:
  • Install and configure printers, copiers, and multifunction devices at customer locations.
  • Ensure proper connectivity and functionality with networks and software applications.
  • Provide training to end-users on basic operations and troubleshooting.
Maintenance & Repairs:
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, replacing parts, and updating firmware.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and supplies.
Technical Support:
  • Troubleshoot technical issues over the phone, via remote support, or in person.
  • Provide solutions for paper jams, connectivity problems, and print quality issues.
  • Assist with software and driver installations for optimal device performance.
Customer Service & Reporting:
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service.
  • Document service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities in service records.
  • Provide recommendations to customers on upgrades or improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
  • Experience in copier/printer maintenance, repair, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of networking and computer systems is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required.
  • Valid drivers license
Work Environment:
  • Involve travel to customer sites.
  • Requires lifting, standing, bending, and working with small tools.
