RainBao is a dynamic and fast-paced food truck specializing in Bao Buns! We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality and delicious meals to our customers on-the-go. Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Prep Cook to join our food truck team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation tasks, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and contributing to the smooth operation of our food truck.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
• Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to ensure consistency in food quality.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
• Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading food truck equipment and supplies.
• Work collaboratively with the food truck team to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
• Provide support to the chef and other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a prep cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred but not a must.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Previous experience working on a food truck or in mobile catering preferred, but not required.
• Spanish preferred, but not required.

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
