Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract at a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy located in La Vergne, TN. This full-time position offers a steady weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

Location: La Vergne, TN
Type: 13+ Week Contract
Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Pharmacy Overview:
High-volume mail order/renal specialty pharmacy
Approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily
No automation; uses WellSky order entry system
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties
Final verification of prescriptions, ensuring correct medication and packaging
Review and verify prescription directions and details against original hard copy
Requirements:
Active pharmacist license in Tennessee
Experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification
