Position: Contents Specialist

Location: Vancouver, WA
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Contents Specialist to provide operational support in the remediation of client property. This role involves cleaning, deodorizing, packing, and storing contents affected by water, fire, or other damages. The specialist will use equipment and cleaning solutions under supervision while ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:


Restoration & Cleaning:

  • Perform dry and wet mitigation/pre-cleaning using approved procedures.
  • Use specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals safely under supervision.
  • Adhere to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) standards.
Contents Handling & Transportation:

  • Pack, wrap, and inventory client contents to prevent damage during transport.
  • Move and manipulate contents on-site for remediation crews to complete tasks.
  • Transport contents to the warehouse for processing and storage.
  • Assist with contents storage and organization.
Site & Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain and clean all equipment used in daily tasks.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
  • Keep workspaces and vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition.
Customer Service & Compliance:

  • Follow company policies to safeguard client property.
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
  • Maintain attention to detail and follow supervisor directions.
  • Work under time constraints to meet project deadlines.
  • Accurately report time worked, equipment used, and consumables.
Qualifications & Experience:

  • No experience required.
  • Candidates must meet company and insurance requirements for operating a company vehicle.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs frequently.
  • Mobility in tight spaces and ability to kneel, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Use of mobile devices for data collection and time tracking.
