Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Project Manager to oversee large-scale ground-up construction projects. This role requires expertise in structural concrete, foundation work, podium decks, and high-rise concrete construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cast-in-place (CIP), post-tensioned, and reinforced concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all concrete-related aspects of large-scale ground-up projects.
  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage and enforce safety compliance, ensuring all work meets OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Work closely with engineers and field teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Track project costs, change orders, and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Lead project meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.
  • Drive project completion on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in concrete project management for large ground-up projects (no tilt-up).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of structural concrete systems, post-tensioning, formwork, and reinforcing steel.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience:

  • High-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use concrete projects.
  • Parking structures, podium decks, and large foundation systems.
  • Union and non-union subcontractor coordination.
