In this role, youll ensure prescriptions are accurate and safe, while learning the specialized art of personalized medication compounding. During your shifts, youll serve as a go-to resource for pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and keeping operations running smoothly.

Training Schedule

  1. Applicants must be available for training during normal business hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  2. Once fully trained, your PRN shift schedule will be: Monday to Thursday (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.) Saturday (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Review & Verification

  • Review and execute physician prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance.
  • Perform final verification of compounded prescription orders.

Compounding Support

  • Assist in preparing and formulating compounded sterile and non-sterile products as needed.
  • Conduct in-process checks and documentation to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot formulation or processing issues.
  • Ensure all compounding activities meet regulatory and internal quality standards.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Provide real-time guidance and mentorship to pharmacy technicians during shifts.
  • Serve as the on-site leadership presence for addressing questions, ensuring compliance, and supporting warehouse workflows during these shifts.

Cleanroom Operations Management

  • Coordinate schedules and oversee performance of Cleanroom Cleaning Specialists.
  • Conduct initial and refresher training for cleanroom cleaning staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support cleanroom maintenance and cleanliness, maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of cleanroom activities, inventory, and staff training.
  • Support all regulatory compliance efforts through meticulous documentation and operational oversight.


Minimum Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Current state pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate compounding equipment.

Preferred Qualifications (But not Required:)

  • Previous experience as a compounding pharmacist.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and accountability.
