Pay: $18 - $21 hourly

About Our Client:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established company in the mortgage industry. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Auditor to support compliance and auditing functions within mortgage servicing and default processes.

Job Description:

This role involves reviewing foreclosure and bankruptcy procedures, verifying invoices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage servicing and a strong ability to analyze and document audit findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits on foreclosure processes using internal systems.
  • Review bankruptcy documentation with a structured checklist approach.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and report discrepancies.
  • Communicate with clients via email and client portals.
  • Assemble and maintain audit documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Monitor system alerts and distribute tracking updates as necessary.
  • Maintain records of staff training and ensure compliance with annual requirements.
  • Adapt to evolving duties as training progresses.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in mortgage servicing or default management required.
  • Background in auditing is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interact with internal teams, external clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
