Job Description

CCFBank is currently searching for a Compliance & Regulatory Specialist to join our team! The Compliance & Regulatory Specialist will assist the VP - Compliance Officer and Enterprise Risk Team with developing, monitoring, and managing CCFBank's Compliance Management System. The ideal candidate has previous risk management, regulatory compliance or financial institution audit experience and is very detail oriented. Primary Responsibilities Monitors and implements new and changing regulations, communicates relevant updates to business units, and collaborates with business units to ensure compliance through policy, procedure, and system changes. Performs periodic internal monitoring exercises to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. Creates and manages remediation plans in response to internal monitoring, audit, and exam findings and compliance violations. Performs periodic compliance risk assessments, coordinates with the business units to gather supporting documentation needed to complete a risk assessment. Assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual compliance reports. Participates in the planning, development, conducting, and monitoring of colleague in-house educational programs. Supports the business units by providing expertise on compliance matters, clarifying regulations, and offering guidance on best practices. Supports the compliance and enterprise risk governance framework through ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Five years of related experience preferred in financial institution audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management. Eight to ten years of banking or financial institution audit experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn and adapt to a variety of software programs.
