Job Description

About the Role:

Tiello is proudly partnered with a leading Commercial Roofing Contractor in search of a Service Manager to oversee and grow their service and repair division. This individual will play a critical role in managing service crews, building client relationships, troubleshooting roofing issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Service Department, including scheduling, dispatching, and overseeing service crews
  • Conduct roof inspections, identify leak issues, and recommend appropriate repair solutions
  • Work directly with property owners, facility managers, and general contractors to maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure service projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards
  • Estimate repair work, prepare proposals, and assist with negotiating service contracts
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols across all service operations
  • Train, mentor, and lead service technicians to ensure continuous improvement and professional development
  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and reporting for service jobs
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Estimating, Production, and Sales to support company goals

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Roofing, with a minimum of 2+ years in a Service Manager or Supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Built-up, Modified Bitumen, etc.)
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and grow a high-performing service team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects at once
  • Estimating and project management experience preferred
  • Proficient with technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and service software tools
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
