Job Description

As a Commercial Roofing Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects across the region. Projects are in the reroof and new construction sectors. You'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering high-quality roofing systems safely and on time. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful execution and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects (TPO, PVC, BUR, metal, etc.).
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, contracting, and oversight.
  • Conduct project kickoff, pre-construction, and handoff meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.

Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Review job cost reports and control labor/equipment costs.
  • Issue and track change orders.
  • Approve vendor invoices and support accurate billing and collections.
  • Communication & Client Relations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and GCs.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, estimating, service, and field teams.
  • Attend job site meetings and project walks with owners and GC reps.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, delays, and key milestones.

Quality Control & Safety

  • Conduct job-site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and manufacturer standards.
  • Proactively address issues before they impact schedules or budgets.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and within OSHA compliance.

Support & Development

  • Mentor and support field supervisors and coordinators.
  • Help develop repeatable systems to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to estimating feedback, post-job reviews, and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing commercial roofing projects.
  • Deep understanding of roofing systems and construction sequencing.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficient with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
