Job Description Company Overview: One of the Mid Atlantics leading players in the commercial roofing industry, renowned for our expertise in handling large and complex roofing projects. Our portfolio includes data centers, distribution warehouses, and educational institutions. We are currently looking to expand our team with a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator who is adept at managing the unique challenges of large-scale roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing projects, including labor, materials, and other related costs.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Work closely with project managers, clients, vendors, and team members to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Utilize EDGE software for estimation purposes, ensuring precise and efficient project estimations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in estimating large, complex roofing projects such as data centers, distribution warehouses, and schools.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
- Proficiency in EDGE software is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
- Open to both seasoned estimators and junior estimators with relevant experience and skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills.
- Good organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
