Commercial Real Estate/Leasing – Senior Associate or Counsel

Our client, a top law firm, is seeking a senior associate or counsel to join its dynamic and growing Real Estate practice. Position can be based in either Boston, Connecticut or New York office locations.

The estimated salary for this position is $185,000-$230,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years’ experience representing companies, developers, franchisees, investors, and other entities in sophisticated real estate matters, with a focus on commercial leasing, franchise and distribution, and general corporate real estate
• Substantial experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and broader experience in the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial properties is required
• Experience representing franchisees, including reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements, renewals and transfers, as well as experience in the acquisition of assets and general corporate tasks is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Membership in the state bar for the market where you are applying, or the ability to become barred in that state
