Operated under the Auro Hotels umbrella, we are committed to creating warm, welcoming environments for our guests while delivering exceptional service and quality products.Position Overview: The Meeting Grounds Manager is responsible for the overall operations, leadership, and performance of The Meeting Grounds. This role requires hands-on leadership, team development, financial oversight, and a strong customer focus. The GM sets the tone for the store and ensures smooth daily operations aligned with Auro's guiding principles and hospitality standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead by example, creating a positive and professional work environment.Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures and shift coverage.Set clear goals for the team and support execution through coaching, delegation, and feedback.Maintain high standards for customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence.Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate team members.Conduct regular performance check-ins and support employee development.Create a culture of accountability, recognition, and growth.Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies.Foster a welcoming and comfortable experience for guests.Address guest concerns quickly and professionally.Manage labor and inventory costs to achieve profitability goals.Review and act on financial reports, P&L statements, and meet with Director of F&B to review monthly statements.Monitor local trends to adapt offerings and optimize performance.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and cash handling protocols.Qualifications:Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.2-3 years of experience in retail or food & beverage management.Experience managing teams, hiring, and handling performance reviews.Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and operational reporting tools.ServeSafe Manager certification preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Able to lift 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.Auro Hotels is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
