Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer with exceptional interpersonal skills, reliability, team orientation, and organizational prowess. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on programming experience, particularly using Mastercam, with expertise in planning and programming for 3 Axis and 4 Axis CNC machines. Experience in lathe programming is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and program for 3 Axis and 4 Axis (5 Axis is a plus) CNC machines in the milling department.
* Delegate work to department employees and assist them with setups and troubleshooting as needed.
* Collaborate with Production and Quality Managers to address job-related issues.
* Ensure availability of materials and resources in the department.
* Maintain the machine program database and monitor fixtures, tools, and supplies.
* Uphold company and customer quality standards, adhering to ISO Quality System requirements.
* Generate continuous improvement ideas to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming, with proficiency in Mastercam.
* Experience with lathe programming is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and listen actively.
* Reliability and dependability in consistently completing job-related tasks.
* Team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate with others and pitch in as necessary.
* Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and minimize errors.
* Knowledge of ISO Quality System requirements preferred.
