We are seeking an experienced Permanent CNC Machinist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of the manufacturing process, and a desire to contribute to a team that values quality, innovation, and excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, calibrating equipment, handling tooling, and operating lathes. Responsibilities:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
2. Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
3. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
4. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
5. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
6. Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
7. Maintain equipment, including calibration of CNC machines and tools.
8. Perform lathe operations when necessary.
9. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
10. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the CNC Machinist role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Proven experience as CNC machinist (minimum 3 years).
2. Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
3. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
4. Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
5. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
6. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
7. Good communication abilities.
8. Ability to work in a team setting.
9. Completion of a degree or certificate program in a related field is preferred.
10. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
