Job Description

*Title:* Audiologist with advancement to Lead Audiologist

*Educational requirements:* Masters degree or Doctorate in Audiology

*License Requirement:* Licensed as an Audiologist in the State of CA. Dispensing license not required.

*Job Description: *Assessment and treatment of patients with hearing disorders.

Work closely with Otologists, Otolaryngologists, Internal Medicine specialists, and General Practitioners in the medical communities of San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Mountain View, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Gilroy, and Fremont.

Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations and aural rehabilitation of adults and children in addition to Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions, Tympanometry, Acoustic Reflex, Tinnitus Assessment, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, and Conditioned Play Audiometry. Exercise clinical judgement to determine patient care based on findings. Concise communication with support staff, patients and family members. Produce digital results and report in a timely manner to referring physician. Supervision of assistants. Fulfill all licensure requirements and audiology protocol updates. Contribute to improvements in patient care and clinic protocols. Work autonomously without supervision in a clinical setting.

*Requirements:*

Knowledge of medical conditions and treatment of hearing disorders. Experience with PC-based 2 channel audiometer and automated immittance system. Experience with otoscopy in a clinical setting. Experience with collaborative work with referring physicians. Experience with digital records including written reports and chart notes. Professional interpersonal communication and written skills. Knowledge of compliance of patient privacy laws, state laws, and willingness to follow all protocols.

*Pay range and benefits:*

$115,000 - $150,000 annual salary based on reviews and advancement
