An exercise specialist work in concert with physical and occupational therapist assisting clients in their therapy goals and plans as indicated by the primary therapist to assist clients in reach optimal health
Job Responsibilities - Maintaining the therapy environment, equipment and facilities
- Assisting with rehabilitation
- Guiding clients on proper form and technique
- Motivating clients to achieve their therapy goals
- Working as a liaison between administration and clinicians
- Keeping inventory and items stocked
Job Requirements - High school diploma and work experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- CPR/BLS certification
- Teachable
- Ability to have challenging conversation
- Intuition
- Incredible phone etiquette
- Growth minded
Experience as a therapy aide, therapy technician, kinesiology, ATC, exercise science preferred but not required.
