We work with residential and commercial clients to provide expert tree removals, pruning, risk assessments, and preservation. We're looking to grow our team with skilled climbers and ISA Certified Arborists who want to grow their career and make an impact in the community.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Climbing Arborist with ISA Certification (or in progress) to lead and execute high-level tree work, including pruning, removals, rigging, and hazard assessments. You’ll be a key part of our crew, expected to maintain safe practices, communicate with clients, and train junior team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tree climbing, rigging, and pruning using industry best practices

  • Complete tree removals of all sizes with a focus on precision and safety

  • Conduct tree health and risk assessments in accordance with ISA standards

  • Communicate with clients and team members clearly and professionally

  • Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and completed efficiently

  • Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment

  • Assist with ground operations and team leadership when not climbing

Qualifications

  • ISA Certified Arborist (Required or in progress with completion timeline)

  • 2+ years of professional climbing experience in tree care

  • Proficiency in modern climbing techniques (sRT/dRT), rigging, and aerial rescue

  • Strong knowledge of tree species, structural integrity, and pruning standards

  • Valid driver’s license with clean record (CDL preferred but not required)

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction

Nice to Have

  • CDL Class B license or willingness to obtain

  • Tree risk assessment qualification (TRAQ)

  • Plant health care (PHC) knowledge or licensing

  • Experience training or mentoring junior climbers
