Staff Today Inc (STI) is currently seeking a Housekeeper or Cleaner to work at a Long Term Care Facility in Oxford, New York. This is a registry position in which working for Staff Today Inc at the facility.

Shift Details:

• Mon-Fri 6 am-2:30 pm
• May be asked to work weekends if needed

Job Description:

The incumbent will p erform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring light, medium, and heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for assigned areas of the 221,000 +/- square foot interior and around the exterior of the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform duties covering the full range of physical exertion required to keep the facility clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing to the residents, visitors, and staff.
• The cleaner may be required to lift heavy articles, such as furniture, and move to a new location within the facility; which may include pick-up and removal of hazardous articles to the designated receptacle or appropriate place as required.
• The cleaner shall be required to bend, kneel, and stand for an extended periods of time, as the job requires.
• Ensure that all areas, such as patients' rooms and public areas are kept clean and sanitary.
• Mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floors.
• Cleaning windows and dusting furniture.
• Washing and changing linens on patients' beds.
• Ensuring that all waste is disposed of properly.
• Empty trash cans.
• The cleaner may also be asked to perform other tasks as needed, such as, distribution of linens and personal laundry to linen closets and residents closets.
