Job Description
Position Description: Class B truck drivers are responsible for operating vehicles that have weight requirements, usually for commercial or industrial purposes. They may work as school bus drivers, delivery truck drivers, or public transit drivers.
Some responsibilities of a Class B truck driver include:
Mapping delivery routes
Inspecting their trucks
Securing loads
Following a delivery route
Maintaining the temperature of the vehicle according to food safe regulations
Tracking and reporting working hours
Following all OSHA safety regulations and procedures
Ensuring trucks are safe by inspecting them before and after trips
Following all company policies $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
