Progression3 is in search of a Cisco Network Engineer.

Core Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions, including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless systems, using Cisco technologies.
• Network Configuration and Management: Configure and manage Cisco devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and performance bottlenecks.
• Network Monitoring and Performance Analysis: Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, using network monitoring tools.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with other IT teams and business stakeholders to understand network needs and provide support.
• Documentation and Training: Document network configurations and procedures, and provide training to other IT staff.
• Security: Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest Cisco technologies and best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Cisco networking technologies: Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems is essential.
• Proficiency in network configuration and management: Ability to configure and manage Cisco devices effectively.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: Experience in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network issues.
• Communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with other IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to collaborate.
