About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Deputy Director of Athletics to join their dynamic senior leadership and executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all revenue generation efforts within the athletics department, developing a strategic vision for external units, and ensuring the achievement of revenue goals. This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, eight years of experience in development and/or revenue generation, a proven track record in sales productivity, and excellent communication skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. A background in athletics and/or higher education is preferred, along with at least 3 years' in a supervisory or management position. As the Senior Deputy Director of Athletics, the candidate will be a key figure in the overall management of the athletics department, representing the Director of Athletics at various meetings and events, and leading a diverse team of direct reports. The position demands a commitment to the company's policies and procedures, as well as compliance with relevant athletic and NCAA regulations. The role is challenging and dynamic, with a significant amount of travel required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and will embrace the spirit of inclusion and diversity that is at the core of the company's values.
