About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their team. The CPO will be a key member of the Executive Team, responsible for leading the organization's HR strategy in alignment with its mission to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. This role requires a collaborative and compassionate leader with a strong work ethic, experienced in all areas of HR, and with a successful track record in talent management. The CPO will be tasked with enhancing talent management, fostering a positive work environment, and driving organizational change. They will also oversee recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with all HR-related legal requirements. The ideal candidate for the CPO position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 6 years' of experience as an HR leader, and a background in the nonprofit sector or a similar setting. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills are essential. The CPO will be expected to have a deep commitment to the organization's mission, including a sensitivity to the needs of underrepresented populations, and a proven ability to lead DEI efforts. Responsibilities also include supervising HR staff, developing and implementing HR strategies, and providing leadership in all HR functions. The successful candidate will be a mentor to their team, ensuring the professional growth and job satisfaction of all employees, and will be adept at translating HR data into meaningful recommendations for the improvement of the organization.
