Competitive Pay Bonus Medical Job Responsibilities: The Chief Innovation Officer will lead research and development initiatives, driving innovation and overseeing the development of new products and technologies. This role requires a visionary leader capable of managing a diverse team of scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive R&D strategies that align with SRI's mission and objectives. Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and professional growth. Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of research projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines. Innovation Promotion: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the development of groundbreaking solutions to complex challenges. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and academic institutions, to promote collaborative research efforts. Resource Management: Manage the R&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize project outcomes. Compliance Assurance: Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in research and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Track Record: Proven success in leading large-scale R&D projects and bringing innovative products or technologies to market. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of current trends and advancements in relevant scientific and technological fields.
