About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key financial leader, driving strategic growth in the agriculture and food distribution industry. This role is pivotal in scaling the company's operations, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development and business expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading funding proposals, providing strategic financial planning, and collaborating with the leadership team on forecasting, analysis, and investment management. A strong focus will be on supporting partnerships with food distributors to drive revenue growth. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in a senior finance role within the agriculture, ag retail, food and beverage, or distribution sectors. The role requires expertise in raising capital, managing complex funding proposals, and a strong ability in strategic financial thinking. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial forecasting, investment planning, and equity management, and must be capable of excelling in a fast-paced, scaling business environment. The CFO will initially be part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role, and should be prepared for a hybrid work arrangement that includes on-site presence.
