Athens Micro is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead financial and administrative functions for a growing high-tech company. Sharing a vision for business growth and working with the President and Executive team to craft and execute on business planning, tracking, forecasting, and management are essential skills. An overall ability to shape and improve processes and results across the company are critical to success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Strategy : Work with the President and Executive Team to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
• Financial Management & Analysis : Oversee the company’s finances, providing analysis to support decision-making and growth.
• Banking & Cash Flow : Oversee banking relationships and ensure proper cash flow management.
• Internal Process Improvements : Drive process improvements across financial and operational areas to optimize efficiency and results.
• Management: Oversee and manage AR, AP, Billing, and HR personnel and duties

Qualifications :

• Experience using QuickBooks and MSPCFO is preferred
• Proven experience in a CFO or similar leadership role in a high-growth, high-tech company.
• Strong background in financial management, forecasting, business planning, and process optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with executive leadership.
• Formal academic training in business, finance, or a related field.
• Must be within a commutable distance to our office (Watkinsville, GA)
