About the Role

The Company is seeking an inaugural Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) to play a pivotal role in leading the organization's finance, human resources, and operational functions. The CFOO will be a key member of the Executive Team, responsible for high-level fiscal management, overseeing accounting and contract administration, and ensuring organizational compliance. This strategic leader will also be tasked with fostering a positive and dynamic organizational culture, leading risk mitigation efforts, and supporting the company in its mission to be impact-driven, customer-focused, and growth-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of executive leadership in finance, with a preference for experience in social-impact organizations, and must be comfortable in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Key responsibilities for the CFOO include coordinating annual operations and resourcing plans, providing strong day-to-day leadership, and cultivating the company's organizational values. The role also involves functional oversight of various teams, leading program resourcing meetings, and upgrading people and culture functions. The successful candidate will be a strategic and tactical leader, with a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, developing system and process workflows, and fostering a high-performance culture. Experience in government contracting and working with union-represented staff is essential. The CFOO will be expected to have strong judgment, interpersonal skills, and adaptability in mission-driven environments, and will be encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every listed qualification, as the company is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
