Key responsibilities for the CEO include ensuring full and fair coverage of the education landscape, upholding the highest journalistic and ethical standards, and expanding the organization's reach. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding fundraiser, ambassador, and spokesperson, with a track record of growing and diversifying funding. They should also demonstrate strong business acumen, operational leadership, and the ability to adapt to the evolving media and journalism landscape. The CEO will work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including reporters, editors, and data experts, to ensure that the organization's impact is maximized and that it remains a relevant and sustainable news outlet.
