Job Description

Currently seeking a Chemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Darien, CT. Details for the position are as follows:
Shift Details:

• Monday- Friday- 8AM-5PM

Job Description:

• Pay: $25-$30/hr depending on experience.
• This is a temporary assignment that is slated for 9 months with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Positions is responsible for formulating haircare products under the supervision and direction of R&D Supervisor.
• Formulate and coordinate development and testing of hair care products under direct supervision
• Conduct stability as required by the supervisor, i.e., track stability, update results charts and summarize data for review at each test period
• Document within Enginuity every batch made with details of reason for the batch, batching notes, batch specification results and other test results as applicable.
• Enter information into notebook and utilize Enginuity for laboratory work as defined by R&D Management

Qualifications :

• Bachelor degree required (Chemistry discipline preferred)
• Experince/ background in formulation chemistry preferred.
• Experience with cosmetic, hair care, beauty, and/or personal care products preferred.
