ABLEMKR is looking for a skilled and driven Certified Welding Engineer to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan . If you're passionate about quality, safety, and excellence in welding processes, we want to hear from you.

• Develop and optimize welding procedures (WPS/PQR) in compliance with AWS/ASME standards
  
• Provide technical support to production and fabrication teams
  
• Perform weld inspections and oversee quality assurance programs
  
• Train welders on technique, safety, and code compliance
  
• Analyze and resolve welding issues in real-time
  
• Maintain records of compliance, inspections, and procedure development
  

• $35/hour starting rate

• Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or equivalent (AWS preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in welding engineering in a fabrication or manufacturing setting
• Deep knowledge of welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME, API, etc.)
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, welding symbols, and NDE methods
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
