Job Summary

\n\n

\n\t
• The CRNA is accountable for the highest quality anesthesia service to surgical, obstetrical, and emergency patients, as well as patients throughout the entire hospital. In addition, provide resuscitative measures and intravenous service as needed.
\n

\n\n

Education and/or Experience

\n\n

\n\t
• Masters Degree is required.
\n\t
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
\n\t
• Graduate from an accredited school of anesthesia.
\n\t
• Doctorate Degree preferred.
\n\t
• Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
\n\t
• No experience required.
\n\t
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
\n

\n\n

Licensure/Certification/Registration

\n\n

\n\t
• Licensure by the SD State Board of Nursing as a CRNA is required.
\n\t
• Maintain credentials per medical staff requirements.
\n\t
• Must have upon hire and continuously maintain National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification.
\n

\n\n

\n\t
• Certification by the American Association Nurse Anesthetists.
\n

\n\n

Work Schedule

• Day shift as needed; PRN\n\n\t

  • 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
