Role Description This is an in-person part-time role for a Personal Trainer in San Diego, CA, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position. As a Personal Trainer, you will work directly with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals through structured training programs, coaching, and support. You’ll gain hands-on experience developing personalized training plans, leading fitness sessions, and refining your coaching skills. In the early stages, the role will primarily focus on training clients, but there are also opportunities for additional administrative work to help with gym operations. This is an ideal position for someone looking to grow in the fitness industry while receiving on-the-job training and mentorship. If you’re eager to learn and passionate about helping people improve their health, this is an opportunity to develop into a high-level coach with guidance and support. Qualifications There are no formal qualifications required to start—if you’re motivated and coachable, I’m happy to train you and help you obtain certifications along the way. That said, the following are preferred: NASM certification (or working toward it) Degree in kinesiology or related field (or an interest in pursuing one) Passion for fitness and a willingness to learn Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Interest in expanding into administrative tasks as needed This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the fitness industry with mentorship and real-world experience.
