J ob Summary: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Catering Delivery Driver with a background in cooking to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent driving skills, and the ability to assist with food preparation and presentation during catering events. This role involves both delivering catered meals to clients and providing hands-on culinary support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery Duties:
  
  
  • Safely and efficiently transport catering orders to event locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery, following designated routes and traffic regulations.
  • Handle food orders with care, ensuring they are presented in an organized, appetizing manner.
  • Set up food stations, buffets, and meal areas at event locations if necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle and ensure all necessary equipment (chafing dishes, serving trays, etc.) are in working order.
• Cooking and Food Preparation:
  
  
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating for catering events as required.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to company recipes and standards.
  • Help with the assembly and presentation of catering orders before delivery.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards while handling food.
• Client Interaction:
  
  
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with clients during delivery.
  • Answer any basic questions regarding the catering order, setup, or food items.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Maintenance:
  
  
  • Ensure proper storage and transportation of perishable goods.
  • Check inventory of supplies, reporting shortages or issues to the catering manager.
  • Assist with clean-up at the event location, including taking down food stations and packing up equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Prior cooking or culinary experience is required (experience in catering or event planning is a plus).
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
