Advanced Centrifugals
Position: Cast Operator
Reports to: Leadman

Scope of Position:
Set-up and operation of die-cast spinning machines. Work utilizing the required safety equipment. Keep clean and organized casting deck. Perform duties in a positive and team-like manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor casting machines and equipment
• Ensure proper melting and pouring of molten metal into molds
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on casting equipment
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report major problems to supervisor

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or casting environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and strong focus on quality
• Willingness to work in a factory environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materials

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific casting processes (e.g., centrifugal casting)
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and tools
• Knowledge of metallurgy basics
• Certification in relevant manufacturing or safety programs
