Job Summary :
The Front End Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front end operations, ensuring a positive customer experience and efficient workflow. This role involves managing front end staff, optimizing checkout processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store appearance.
Responsibilities :
Supervise, train, and schedule front end staff, including cashiers and customer service representatives.
Ensure excellent customer service is provided by all front end associates.
Manage cash handling procedures, including drawer counts, deposits, and adherence to company policies.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front end area.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to sales, returns, and customer interactions.
Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth store operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Handle various administrative tasks, such as reporting and inventory management for front end supplies.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and develop a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
