Clean Eatz is a healthy lifestyle café founded in Wilmington, NC in 2013. We are a fast-growing franchise with 100+ locations nationwide. There are currently 4 operating locations in and around St. Louis.

Our business hours involve no late night shifts . Our store hours are 11 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday and 11 AM to 3 PM on Saturday and Sundays.

Position Summary
The Cafe Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing and directing the restaurant operations.
Overall Job responsibilities:
- Delivery of the Clean Eatz experience focused on healthy lifestyles
- Execution of systems and processes
- Hiring, coaching, developing and supervising staff members to attain production objectives and quality standards while delivering a great customer experience.
- Achieving financial goals set on a per month and quarterly basis.
- Ensuring the Front of House and Back of House are well coordinated and operate efficiently according to standards and processes.
- Front of House: Great customer experience and service
- Back of House: Planning, ordering/inventory and production for café and meal preparation
- Ensuring cleanliness and quality throughout entire location
- Promoting the brand through market outreach, community giving, events, etc.
Additional Job Duties:
- Ensuring the highest quality food/meal products according to Clean Eatz recipes and processes
- Training and development of entire team
- Ordering and inventory management of all food ingredients and other required supplies
- Ensuring high-volume meal production achieves weekly objectives in parallel with operating a healthy-lifestyle café
- Providing excellent customer service in Front-of-House (café, table touches, marketplace and cleanliness according to Clean Eatz values and experience)
- Educating customers on the various Clean Eatz products (café, weekly meal plans, Grab-n-Go meals, marketplace, catering, etc.)
- Relaying allergen and nutritional information to guests and helping map customers’ dietary needs with Clean Eatz meal options.
- Ensuring that the restaurant is opened and closed properly.
- Following all State and Corporate food safety and sanitation requirements
- Ensuring that all register transactions are correct and accounted for
Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to work 50+ hours/week as needed - though Clean Eatz O’Fallon is a work/life balanced focused workplace with the goal of ultimately achieving a consistent 40 hour work week once business is developed
- Reliable transportation to/from work with a legal driver's license
- ServSafe Certified
- 3 or more years of management in fast casual or full-service food industry
- Willingness to learn and oversee a high-volume meal production operation according to defined processes and systems.
- Strong communication skills, outgoing, and energetic personality
- The candidate must demonstrate strong work ethic, excellent customer service, display leadership skills.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to be on one’s feet 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize.
