We are currently seeking a CAD Designer – Plastics/Foam/Structures.
This position is responsible for designing and developing seating components using Catia 3DX for a world-class vehicle in terms of both styling and function. They will also act as mentors to more junior engineers.
Your Role:
• Be a significant contributor to a world-class seating team.
• Contribute to the packaging, engineering, release, and launch of seating components • Work with the DREs /Lead Engineers/ Broader stakeholders to assure CAD is updated per team agreements and adherent to industry standards and design guidelines.
• Must have been part of at least 2 full programs from start to finish.
• Previous knowledge of seating systems
• Experienced in using CAD to create 2D/3D concepts efficiently, also packaging layouts, and DFM studies, specifically with CATIA 3DX.
• The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working in a cross-functional team involving multiple vehicle systems.
• Design experience operating with CATIA 3DX.
